No, it is not possible to subscribe using the funds in your Uncove wallet. The wallet is only used for two types of transactions: one-time purchases of paid media and sending tips to creators.
To subscribe to a creator, you must use a bank card or PayPal. This rule is mentioned when topping up your wallet, where you must check a box confirming that you acknowledge this limitation.
If you want to subscribe to a creator, go to their profile and click the subscribe button. You will then need to enter your bank details or PayPal account to validate the transaction.
